• Market research and opportunity assessment in Romania in the HVAC sector for Client of German partner. The Company requesting the FRD center services is set up in 1906 in Reftele, Sweden. They produce liquid vitamin and mineral preparations, aromatic and medicinal teas and herbal tablets. Already active in about 65 countries worldwide, the Company is a pharmaceutical manufacturer. They hired the FRD Center to identify, select and introduce to them potential business partners, importer-distributors in Romania.

• Market Research – including store checks and mystery shopping – in the brick & mortar retail sector, with a focus on fashion retail for an Israelian Client looking to expand to Romania in the business of in-store music. The Client is a global automation company focused on manufacturing and assembling specific equipment automation in the agri-business sector.  They are looking to expand to Eastern Europe through a strategic collaboration for manufacturing, followed in the mid-term by

Track record of activities in December 2019: FRD Center welcomes its newest Clients: one of the most important producers of plastic closures and P.E.T. from Egypt, as well as a major multinational industrial manufacturing group and a system partner for all important components of the process chains car body and powertrain in automotive industry, with HQ in Germany.

Track record of activities in May – October 2019: A major Indian FMCG manufacturer of personal care and home care products has hired the FRD Center market entry services. FRD Center identified, selected, approached at Decision Maket level Romanian strong importer-distributors of toiletries and household chemicals and presented the Client’s products in view of assessing their interest in a collaboration. As a next step, the FRD Center team facilitated direct contact between the Client Export Director and the interested local players in Romania. Track record of activities in November – December 2018: FRD Center was hired by an Italian SME active in the healthcare and private surgical sector to identify, select and approach Romanian private clinics and potential business partners – importer-distributors of medical devices and health equipment. FRD Center provided B2B matchmaking and direct approach at decision maker level in selected local private surgery clinics and local medical devices importing companies. Also the FRD Center team prepared an agenda of 1-2-1 meetings with top management and decision makers for the Client.

September 2017: Jackie Bojor, Director in FRD Center, is selected to become a Senior Non-Key Expert, Market Assessment Advisory Services, for the International Development Ireland consultant firm.

August – October 2017: The U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration, through the representatives in the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, Romania invited FRD Center to join forces and prepare B2B meetings with relevant local players, specialised importer-distributors, potential business partners and buyers for American companies participating in the Trade Winds SE Europe event in October 2017. Trade Winds is the largest annual U.S. government-led trade mission. FRD Center facilitated B2B matchmaking of US companies in sectors such as medical devices, health equipment, FMCGs, foods & beverages, agri-business, technology etc.

The 10th anniversary of the Trade Winds Forum and Mission in Romania, welcomed 100 U.S. companies which were joined by over 100 key Romanian companies and government officials interested in establishing partnerships. Over the course of four days, over 1500 one-on-one meetings and 33 events and bilateral discussions were organized.

August – October 2017: For the second consecutive year, FRD Center has been commissioned by the FINPRO Agrotechnology from Finland Growth Program to organise an Inward Buyer Mission of decision makers in Romanian importer-distributors of agribusiness equipment, agrotechnology and farm machinery to travel to Finland and meet with Finnish producers in a B2B event at the KoneAgria trade fair.

July – October 2017: Switzerland Global Enterprise subcontracts FRD Center to develop a comprehensive Market Entry and B2B matchmaking project in Romania for one of their Swiss Clients in the medical devices and para-pharmaceutical sector. The results of the FRD Center activity have been very highly evaluated by the Client, with maximum scores, appreciating also the extra market information that he has received from FRD Center during the project.

1st June 2006: The Minister for Trade of Ireland, Mr Michael Ahern TD, and Enterprise Ireland, the trade and technology promotion agency of Ireland, offered a Networking Trade Dinner to over 80 Irish and Romanian business people on the occasion of the 2nd edition of the Ireland-Romania Technology and Trade Event. The Romanian Minister of Foreign Trade, Mr Iulius Winkler, and his team also attended.

31st May – 1st June 2006: The 2006 Ireland-Romania Technology and Trade Event was organized by FRD Center in Bucharest for its Client, Enterprise Ireland – the trade and technology promotion agency of Ireland. At this year’s edition over 15 Irish companies traveled to Bucharest and participated in one-to-one business meetings with Romanian companies, visited Romanian companies and organisations. Romanian participation was considerable – over 50 top management people attended the business meetings and the ministerial dinner. This year, Romenvirotec has gathered an elite group of the world manufactures of such products, international consultants and regional development organisations. FRD Center recognises that one of the major problems in the Central Eastern European countries is the lack of efficient land management, which has enormous negative economical, ecological and social impacts. Also, defficient waster water management is seriously hampering the development of animal farms, which are now in the position to use poorly filtered water, thus endangering the competitivity of their products.

September 2017: Jackie Bojor, Director in FRD Center, is selected to become a Senior Non-Key Expert, Market Assessment Advisory Services, for the International Development Ireland consultant firm.

August – October 2017: The U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration, through the representatives in the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, Romania invited FRD Center to join forces and prepare B2B meetings with relevant local players, specialised importer-distributors, potential business partners and buyers for American companies participating in the Trade Winds SE Europe event in October 2017. Trade Winds is the largest annual U.S. government-led trade mission. FRD Center facilitated B2B matchmaking of US companies in sectors such as medical devices, health equipment, FMCGs, foods & beverages, agri-business, technology etc.

The 10th anniversary of the Trade Winds Forum and Mission in Romania, welcomed 100 U.S. companies which were joined by over 100 key Romanian companies and government officials interested in establishing partnerships. August – October 2017: For the second consecutive year, FRD Center has been commissioned by the FINPRO Agrotechnology from Finland Growth Program to organise an Inward Buyer Mission of decision makers in Romanian importer-distributors of agribusiness equipment, agrotechnology and farm machinery to travel to Finland and meet with Finnish producers in a B2B event at the KoneAgria trade fair.

August – October 2013: Commissioned by a market-expansion consulting partner-firm, the FRD Center team developed for their Client-company a comprehensive search & selection process in the garden-centers sector with a focus on special soils and gardening substrata. 12 January 2009: FRD Center welcomes its newest Irish client, Murray Ó Laoire Architects. MÓLA is a firm of architects, urban designers and interior designers. Established in 1979 in Ireland, with offices in Dublin, Cork and Limerick, MÓLA opened an office in Russia (Moscow) 1992. In 2006 they established offices in both Slovakia (Bratislava) and at Aachen and Germany to consolidate their presence in Central Europe. 1st June 2006: The Minister for Trade of Ireland, Mr Michael Ahern TD, and Enterprise Ireland, the trade and technology promotion agency of Ireland, offered a Networking Trade Dinner to over 80 Irish and Romanian business people on the occasion of the 2nd edition of the Ireland-Romania Technology and Trade Event. 31st May – 1st June 2006: The 2006 Ireland-Romania Technology and Trade Event was organized by FRD Center in Bucharest for its Client, Enterprise Ireland – the trade and technology promotion agency of Ireland. 21 April 2005: FRD Center’s management team meet with Mrs. Monica Miches, Representative of the Dutch Embassy Commercial Section in Romania. On this occasion we presented our track record of trade support activities and investigated potential opportunities for assisting the Dutch Embassy Commercial Section in specific activities.

7-10 April 2005: FRD Center team participates at the 13th edition of the National Tourism Fair 2005 organised at the ROMEXPO Exhibition Centre in Bucharest.

3 – 6 April 2005: FRD Center prepares the business itinerary and offers market support to the representatives of an Irish company active in the plastics sector on the international market.

30 March 2005: FRD Center is proud to announce its formal partnership with the creative shop Fabrica de Idei. This partnership comes natural after many years of excellent collaboration for various communication and marketing projects, such as the 2002 Irish Trade Mission to Romania.

29 March 2005: FRD Center’s management team meet with Mr Paul Trupo, Interim Head of the Commercial Section, US Embassy in Bucharest. On this occasion we presented our portfolio of trade support activities presented our services for US exporters and investors interested to enter the Romanian market.

18 March 2005: FRD Center participated at Romenvirotec, Romania’s international exhibition displaying equipment and technologies for environment protection. This year, Romenvirotec has gathered an elite group of the world manufactures of such products, international consultants and regional development organisations. FRD Center recognises that one of the major problems in the Central Eastern European countries is the lack of efficient land management, which has enormous negative economical, ecological and social impacts. Also, defficient waster water management is seriously hampering the development of animal farms, which are now in the position to use poorly filtered water, thus endangering the competitivity of their products.

16 March 2005: We welcome Mr David Butler, newly appointed Director for Romania of Enterprise Ireland, the government agency responsible for the development of Irish industry. Enterprise Ireland has three strategic priorities: Technology innovation, Business development and Internationalisation, aiming to bridge the gap between innovation and internationalisation. FRD Center is the EI preferred services provider in Romania.

1 March 2005: FRD Center is pleased to welcome to Romania its US trade partner, New York based company, NTC International. In partnership with FRD Center, NTC Intl will export and distribute on the Romanian market innovative snack food products.

21 February 2005: FRD Center is proud to partner with the International Trade Centre of Southampton & Fareham Chamber of Commerce & Industry in the UK. The Southampton & Fareham Chamber of Commerce & Industry, together with its affiliates, represents nearly 1400 businesses in all sectors of the economy and of all sizes based around the Southampton & Fareham area.

2 February 2005: We are pleased to welcome to Romania our first Canadian client-company, HistoBest Inc. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, HistoBest Inc. is an innovative research and manufacturing corporation, which is dedicated to providing high quality histology products and services while striving to perfect products which aid in reducing animal usage in biomedical research.

27 January 2005: FRD Center participated at the official launch of the El Car Igero – an innovative prototype bus designed and produced in Romania. The newly launched bus aimes to raise standards of interurban and urban public transport. FRD Center and it partner, The Romanian Design Foundation, promote and support innovation and quality design in Romania.

18th January 2005: We are pleased to announce the partnerships FRD Center has recently signed with Cassel International and Profil Communication. FRD Center is a partner of Fundatia Romana pentru Design (Romanian Design Foundation) and CJC Enterprises.

15th January 2005: FRD Center officially launches the new website. This aims to inform current and prospective clients about the company’s services, achievements and track-record, as well as about Romania’s economic progress and potential.
