According to the official statistics monitored by the market entry consulting firm FRD Center, the majority of the countries in Emerging Europe have been registering increases of their industrial manufacturing in the first eight months of 2021. Industrial manufacturing continues to grow in Emerging Europe.

For example, in Lithuania, between January–August 2021, the industrial production totalled 17.2 bnEUR at current prices and, compared to the same period of 2020, calendar adjusted, increased by 17.2% at constant prices. As for Romania, in the first eight months of the year, the total output increased by 12.7% YoY. According to the National Statistics Institute, the Romanian production of electric and electronic devices continues growing at robust rates. Other manufacturing sectors, such as construction materials and metallic constructions, maintain on an upward trend.

The Romanian manufacturing industry went up 13.7% and the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning went grew by 12.3%. Y-o-y, in August 2021 the Romanian industrial production (unadjusted data) increased by 3%, as a result of increases in the production and supply of electricity, gas, heat and air conditioning (+ 7.4%), manufacturing industry (+ 2.5%) and the mining and quarrying sector (+ 0.5%). Industrial manufacturing continues to grow in Emerging Europe.

In regards to Slovenia, compared to August 2020, the total value of industrial production in August 2021 was higher by 8.4%. It was higher in manufacturing (by 9.8%) and in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (by 1.4%). Compared to August 2019, the total value of the Slovenian industrial production in August 2021 was higher by 5.7%. Industrial manufacturing continues to grow in Emerging Europe. The Hungarian industrial production rose by 10.3 % YoY in July 2021, following an increase of 18.6% YoY in the previous month. More details at https://www.ceicdata.com/en/indicator/hungary/industrial-production-index-growth

In August 2021, the volume of industrial production in Hungary grew by 2.6% year-on-year, according to raw data. In the first eight months of the year, Hungarian production output was 15.3% higher than in January-August 2020.
