At the same time, the Agency paid 211.3 million euros to the local authorities , the public beneficiaries of PNDR 2020, for investments in basic infrastructure, access and cultural heritage in rural areas.
Also, the processors benefited from payments amounting to 68.5 million euros , and the entrepreneurs received funds amounting to 22.2 million euros for investments in the non-agricultural sector. The Local Action Groups (LAGs) benefited from the thematic subprogramme LEADER of payments amounting to 68.8 million euros.

MADR – the Romanian Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development – announced the launch, between October 29, 2021 – January 31, 2022, of the first session of 2021 for submitting applications for funding for sub-measure 6.2 “Support for the establishment of non-agricultural activities in rural areas” and between November 2, 2021 – February 1, 2022 , of the first session in 2021 for submitting the Financing Applications for sub-measure 6.4 “Investments in the creation and development of non-agricultural activities”, from the National Rural Development Program 2014 – 2020.
The available allocations are 50 mEUR for SM 6.2 “Support for the establishment of non-agricultural activities in rural areas” and 100 mEUR for SM 6.4 “Investments in the creation and development of non-agricultural activities”.
The amounts will be intended to support the establishment and development of micro and small enterprises in the non-agricultural sector in rural areas, respectively to support micro and small enterprises in rural areas, which create or develop non-agricultural activities in rural areas.
